What Is 2+2 Articulation?

2+2 Articulation is the process of evaluating courses to determine whether coursework completed at a high school or ROP meets the requirements at a community college or post-secondary institution whether by course-to-course equivalency, credit by exam, advanced placement, The College Board Advanced Placement Program, or dual enrollment. The articulation process is designed to help students advance from one course, program or educational level to the next without repetition of essentially similar courses for which credit has been received. By obtaining advanced placement or credit for college while still enrolled in high school or ROP, students can complete a certificate or degree in a shorter time.

What is Occu-track?

Occu-track is a collaborative program between State Center Community College District (SCCCD) and participating school districts. Occu-track is based on a course being articulated and the high school teacher meeting the community college's minimum qualifications. At the end of each course eligible students receive a college transcript.
